ESCHER’s Flare System experience spans more than six decades and includes innovations tested and approved with global operating companies. Our scope encompasses FEED, feasibility studies, process design, sizing, engineering and turnkey EPIC execution of elevated and ground Flare Systems all based on individual process specifications, project and local site conditions.

Our Flare System design covers process, noise and heat radiation.
Smokeless and environmental specifications are met through steam or air injection and application of the ESCHER Venturi Flame Holder® / VFH® technology. Safeguarding may include ignition by means of HE and FFG ignition systems. Derrick supported retractable multi stack flares with safe and easy operations.
Retractable Flare System
We are the innovator and founder of the derrick supported retractable mutli flare stack system. This type of flare stack offers unique operational advantage allowing any one flare tip to be removed for maintenance or inspection thourgh demountable stack, whilst the other flares remain uninterupted in operations, i.e. safe and no plant shutdown required.

Flare tips
VFH® for enhanced and eco-friendlier flaring with longer lifetime, steam injection, sonic, multi stage, air assist and controlled air supply combustion with air intake accellerator. Smokeless combustion up to RM1.
Ignition and ancillaries
Flame front generator (FFG) ignition or high energy (HE) ignition incl. auto restart, (retractable) aviation warning lighting, flare flame monitoring system, back-up pilot gas supply, hoisting and canting equipment.
