Framework agreement with Dutch district water board

Framework agreement with Dutch district water board January 2010 - The Delfland District Water Board (Hoogheemraadschap Delfland) had to contend with serious flooding in 1998 and decided to take measures to prevent a recurrence. The engineering measures include increasing the capacity of pumping stations, while spatial measures include reserving space for rapid temporary water storage in wet periods.

The measures will be implemented over a three-year period by four providers of engineering consultancy services. The four firms have each signed a framework agreement with the district water board. They were selected following a European call for tenders. Together with engineering firms BCC and Lievense, Iv-Water participated successfully in the European tendering procedure as a consortium called EMERGO.
