November 2011 - NOVEC has commissioned Iv-Bouw to develop a study and design for the reconstruction of the mast in Hoogersmilde. The reconstruction is 294 metres high and the second highest construction in the Netherlands.
In the upcoming two months Iv-Bouw and Iv-Consult will be developing a description of how the new mast is going to look like. The new mast will be located on top of the existing tower, after its recovery. First an update is needed to improve the basic principles and building methods which were used in 1959. The results will be used for a renewed design, which will be used to make the realisation possible in 2012.
